MAKI Reports Alleged Leakage Of KPK Investigation Documents On Corruption At The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources To Metro Police

JAKARTA - The Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) reported that there was an alleged leak of documents resulting from an investigation by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding alleged corruption in performance allowances from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). The report was made to Polda Metro Jaya.

"It has been reported by means of the online Crimeum ​​Polda Metro Police hotline," said MAKI Coordinator Boyamin Saiman in his statement, Saturday, April 8.

The report was made on Friday, April 7. It's just not specified about the party reported.

However, Boyamin said there was a KPK member who leaked the investigation results.

In that report, Boyamin believes that there was a criminal violation related to obstacles in the investigation of corruption cases contained in Article 21 of Law Number 31 of 1999 juncto Number 20 of 2001.

"The report letter has been received by a picket member of the Polda Metro Jaya Ditreskrimum, Bripda Suranta," said Boyamin.

Meanwhile, the leaked data is an investigation document related to the alleged corruption case with cutting performance allowances (tukin) at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

Allegedly, the secret document was leaked into the hands of the litigants. Thus, it is considered very dangerous.
