Cianjur Regent Invites Officials To Celebrate Eid 2023 At Earthquake Disaster Locations

CIANJUR - Regent of Cianjur Regency, West Java, Herman Suherman, asked all officials from section heads to heads of offices and OPD not to go home this year and to carry out Eid prayers in disaster-affected areas. This was revealed by Herman, as a form of support for residents who still live in tents and emergency residences when celebrating a limited victory day, at least from official adorning different atmospheres. "I have instructed all officials in the Cianjur Regency Government, Salat id in earthquake-affected areas, especially connecting services including holding holiday activities or changing open houses among officials," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, April 6. Herman hopes that all officials comply with the request, because ASN in the Cianjur Regency Government must be able to provide examples and have a happy effect on earthquake victims even though they must celebrate Idulfitri's victory in tents and emergency residences. "This time I ask to celebrate Eid with residents affected by the earthquake, as a form of government concern for their citizens and as a form of maximum service, including to ease the burden on residents," he said. Secretary of Cianjur's Diskominfo, Gagan Rusganda, said the circular letter of officials in the Cianjur Regency Government for Eid at the earthquake-affected locations, had already been submitted and it had already been planned, as a form of one taste with earthquake victims.

"Later there will be an open house in the midst of tents or emergency housing for residents in a number of affected villages, at least our presence can be a coverage for our relatives who are still outside the home," he said. Previously, a number of agencies in the Cianjur Regency Government were appointed as liaisons for villages and sub-districts affected by the earthquake, in order to make it easier for residents to get logistical assistance, health services and information related to disbursement of aid from the central government.
