Jadi Plt Dirut Angkasa Pura II, Ini Profil Wendo Asrul Rose

JAKARTA - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney have appointed Wendo Asrul Rose as Acting Director (Plt) of Angkasa Pura (AP) II.

This is because SOE Minister Erick Thohir has removed Muhammad Awaluddin as the previous President Director.

Wendo Asrul Rose himself was born in Padang on December 29, 1970. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Jakarta National Institute of Science and Technology in 1995.

Before being appointed as Acting President Director of Angkasa Pura II, Wendo Asrul Rose since the beginning of his career has dedicated himself to Angkasa Pura I as well as was trusted to carry out a number of strategic positions in the company.

These various positions include the Head of the Mechanical and Water Engineering Service of PT Angkasa Pura I (2003-2004). Then, as Assistant Deputy Director of PT Angkasa Pura I (2004-2009), and Deputy Director of Supervision Engineering of PT Angkasa Pura I (2009-2011).

Then, Wendo Asrul was trusted as the Head of the Sepinggan International Airport Development Project (2011-2013), and General Manager of Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman International Airport (SAMS) Sepinggan Balikpapan (2013-2015).

After that, SOE Minister Erick Thohir also appointed himself as Director of Operations of PT Angkasa Pura I.

This is based on the Decree of the State Minister of BUMN Number: SK-222/MBU/II/2015 dated November 9, 2015 and SK-386/MBU/12/2020, dated December 1, 2020.

Now, Wendo Asrul also gets a bigger responsibility from Minister Erick Thohir, namely as Acting (Plt) President Director of Angkasa Pura (AP) II.

This decision is also contained in a copy of the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises number: SK-311/MBU/2023 and the President Director of the Company (Persero) PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia as Shareholders of PT Angkasa Pura II, number: KEP.INJ.01/23/11/2023/A.0083.

"Wendo Asrul Rose replaces Muhammad Awaluddin who has served as President Director of AP II for 2016-2023," said SVP of Corporate Secretary Deni Krisnowibowo in a written statement, quoted on Saturday, November 18.
