JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) added to the regular journey of the Fast Train airing from the previous 14 trips per day in October, to 28 trips per day in November. This addition is to accommodate the high enthusiasm of the community.
KCIC President Director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi said with the addition of trips, the number of seats provided increased from 8,414 seats to 16,828 seats per day.
"We have increased the number of trips to 28 due to the increasing number of people who need Fast Train service," he said in an official statement, Sunday, October 29.
Furthermore, Dwiyana said the addition of this travel schedule was also followed by the addition of the Bandung-Padalarang pp Feeder train.
"KCIC coordinates with various related parties so that the integration of the mode can run smoothly so that passengers can experience the best service," he said.
Dwiyana explained that the public's high enthusiasm for fast train services was evident from the high number of ticket sales. The number of tickets that have been sold, including bookings, since opening from October 17 to November 1, 2023, has reached 124,000 tickets.
Meanwhile, the total number of passengers on the Fast Train who have been served until October 27 is 87,000 passengers with an occupancy rate of 90 percent and the number of passengers who have reached 13,000 passengers in one day.
"To help people who want to arrive in Jakarta earlier too, KCIC is now providing a train departure from 05.50 from Tegalluar who will arrive at Halim at 06.36," said Dwiyana.

Dwiyana said tickets for the November Fast Train have opened its sales in stages on theASH, Access by KAI, Livin by Mandiri, web ticket.kcic.co.id applications, as well as counters and tickets ending machines at stations.
"Just like before, the promo ticket price of IDR 150,000 for one trip remains valid for this new travel schedule until departure on November 30, 2023," he said.
