Pertamina Gives Incentives To Papuans Who Buy 5.5 And 12 Kg Bright Gas

JAYAPURA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku provides incentives to residents of Jayapura City who buy LPG in bright gas cylinders measuring 5.5 kilograms and 12 kilograms.

Area Manager Communication, Relations and CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku, Edi Mangun said, residents who bought LPG with these size tubes for the first time got a set of gas stoves plus hoses and regulators by exchanging private kerosene stoves.

According to Mangun, this is a form of PT Pertamina's concern for environmental pollution because LPG has many advantages over kerosene.

"Elpiji is more time-efficient and time-efficient, practical, environmentally friendly, in terms of use is also easier and safer because tubes, stoves, regulators, and gas hoses are in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI)," he said, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, October 28.

He explained that another advantage is low emission LPG exhaust gas so as not to cause air and smoke pollution.

"This promotion is valid only until October 29, 2023 and applies to people in Jayapura City along with the implementation of the Garuda Travel Fair (GATF) at Jayapura Mall," he said.

He added that his party also made it easier for people to purchase bright gas cylinders which then received proof of receipts.

"Furthermore, gas cylinders and gas stoves will be delivered to the house and exchanged for kerosene stoves," he said.
