Pontjo Kubu Sutowo Unload Portal Closing Access To Hotel Sultan

JAKARTA - Pontjo Sutowo's PT Indobuildco fought back by dismantling a portal that prevented access to the Sultan Hotel from Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. Not only that, the portal installed by the Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Center (PPKGBK) was also removed from the area.

For your information, previously PPKGBK built a portal to close access to the Sultan Hotel on Tuesday, October 24.

PT Indobuildco's attorney Yosef Benediktus said this portal was installed at the entrance to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. In fact, this is the only road access to the Sultan Hotel.

Furthermore, Yosef said the presence of the portal greatly disrupted activities at the Sultan Hotel. Both employees and hotel guests.

"Today, we were forced to dismantle the portal created by PPKGBK. The construction of the portal interfered with activities at the entrances to the Sultan Hotel area," he said at the location where the Sultan Hotel portal was demolished, Jakarta, Thursday, October 26.

"This PPKGBK action violates the right to life, the right to business for citizens and human rights," he continued.

Based on VOI's presence at the location, PT Indobuildco brought six workers to dismantle the iron portal in yellow and black. Several people were seen destroying concrete with a hammer. While the rest moved the rock near the portal.

After the concrete was successfully destroyed, the barrier iron was combined and moved to the back area. On the iron side there is an inscription 'enter/out must report & exchange identity'.

At the same location, several security guards were also assigned to move the iron sign installed by PPKGBK. The sign with the red dominated color reads 'You go to Tanah GBK Block 15'. Seen at the location, at least three signs were moved.
