Aiming For Big Bosses, First Class Tickets For Fast Train Classes Will Be Priced At IDR 600,000

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has opened its voice regarding the news of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train tariff or first class or VIP which will be priced at IDR 600,000 for one trip.

This ticket price has been adjusted to the target to be targeted.

President Director of PT KCIC Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi did not deny the news.

Dwiyana explained that the tariff could have been applied because his party was targeting high-class segments such as big bosses for this type of class.

"If it's Rp. 600,000 first class, we're also looking for bosses. Bosses are really thinking about access? Think about time. This is some talking to me. 'Sir, I've tried 3-4 times the train fast. Yesterday I got a car 3.5 hours, jet lag," said Dwiyana at Halim Station, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 17.

For your information, the high-speed train itself has three classes, namely a frist class with 9 seats at the front of the train carriage.

The seating formation is 2-1. Then, business classes with 2-2 seating formations, and premium economic classes with 3-2 formations.

Furthermore, Dwiyana explained, KCIC is also planned to implement dynamic pricing or dynamical tariffs for tickets to the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train.

Tarif itu, kan kita bisa pakai dynamic pricing kan. Seperti pesawat, kapan naik, kapan turun tergantung strategi perusahaan kan. Waktu offpeak, kita turunin. Waktu holiday season atau weekend, kita naikin. Biasa kan sebenarnya, jelasnya.

Dwiyana said that currently KCIC is targeting 130,000 passengers per day. The hope is that the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train with an excess of travel time of only 30 minutes can create a shift from private vehicle users to public transportation.

"We hope that what happens in FS (feasibility study) can be 130,000 passengers per day, it's already extraordinary," said Dwiyana.

Currently, KCIC operates 14 trips for the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train orASH per day, with the Halim-Padalarang PP Station route, and the Halim-Tegalluar PP Station.

One series of trains consists of 8 train carriages with a maximum passenger capacity of 601 people.

Currently, KCIC also imposes tariff discounts for all routes for IDR 150,000 for one trip.

This promo is valid from 18 October to the end of November 2023. After that, the tariff will apply dynamically.

Even so, Dwiyana ensured that there was still a tariff limit for the Quick Train

"We definitely have it. Upper limits for BOD and BOC, as well as to shareholders," said Dwiyana.
