OIKN Strengthens Investment In The Indonesia-France Business Forum

The Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) strengthens cooperation in the investment sector with investment partner countries. Especially the French state in the 2023 Indonesian - French Business Forum.

"The IKN Authority is looking for investment opportunities and cooperation with potential investors in France. Some of the companies we have met are the result of follow-up with various parties," said OIKN Head Bambang Susantono quoting Antara.

Bambang said France is a country that has the potential to become a foreign investor in Indonesia in the development of the capital city of the archipelago. OIKN has previously held meetings with several investors virtually and is now the right time to hold face-to-face meetings, so as to strengthen existing investment cooperation.

This meeting is based on investment cooperation which refers to the five basic characteristics of the development of the capital city of Nusantara such as green, inclusive, intelligent, resilient, and sustainable.

In addition, investment cooperation in technology is also the focus of cooperation in this meeting.

"There are many things that can be explored, one of which is in the field of technology," said Bambang.

The Chief of OIKN also met with Gerard Wolff as a senior advisor to the Sustainable City Program of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the same time became the Chair of the Acceleration of the MadeEF Sustainable City (the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry organization) for learning in realizing IKN as a green city.

The capital city of Nusantara is also expected to become a culturally friendly city so that it can become an attraction for local and international communities.

OIKN discussed with the manager of the Paris Museum Louvre and the next day it is planned to visit the Louvre of the Paris Museum.

The archipelago is the capital city of Indonesia in the future, which is stipulated and regulated by Law Number 3 of 2022.

The archipelago has changed the orientation of development to Indonesia-centric, and serves to accelerate the transformation of the country's economy. The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) is the authority that manages and regulates the archipelago.
