The State Budget Has Flowed IDR 6.4 Trillion For IKN This Year, Build Anything?

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) informed that the total 2023 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) that has been used to support the development of the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago is IDR 6.4 trillion.

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said the realization was equivalent to 29.4 percent of the 2023 State Budget ceiling.

"The total budget allocation of IKN Nusantara this year is IDR 29.4 trillion," he said some time ago.

The Minister of Finance explained that the absorption of the APBN was a recapitulation until December 2023. In detail, the realization of IKN development is divided into two large clusters. First, the infrastructure cluster is worth IDR 26.5 trillion.

"For this cluster, it was built in the form of the State Palace and the core government area, residential areas for ASN, the construction of the IKN toll road, the duplication of the Balang Island bridge, the construction of the Sepaku Semoi dam, to the handling of the Sepaku River flood," he said.

The second is the infrastructure cluster of IDR 3 trillion which is focused on coordination and preparation of transfers, planning to transfer IKN, policy recommendations to ministries/agencies, mapping activities, and support for security of the Police.

"The total budget for IKN development from 2022 to the 2024 State Budget is IDR 75.5 trillion, where the realization in 2022 is 5.5 trillion and next year's plan is IDR 40.6 trillion," said Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
