The Directorate General of Infrastructure and Housing Financing of the Ministry of PUPR targets the allocation of 220,000 housing financing liquidity facilities (FLPP) in 2024.

Over the past five years, the Ministry of PUPR has realized 900,000 FLPP housing units. However, this number still does not meet the housing needs of the community.

"We are optimizing the existing ones, yes, we will try to see if we can exercise the scheme. It can be done if we modify the scheme, so the number will increase," said Director General of Infrastructure and Housing Financing Herry Trisaputra Zuna when met after the Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission V DPR RI in Jakarta, on Wednesday, September 6.

In total, the target for housing financing assistance in 2024 is 173,251 units with a budget of Rp. 19.83 trillion.

"As much as Rp. 19 trillion comes from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) and Rp. 0.83 trillion from public funds," said Herry.

This figure consists of 166,000 FLPP units worth Rp. 13.72 trillion, and 166,000 units of FLPP assistant down payment subsidy (SBUM) of Rp. 0.68 trillion.

Next, the Interest Difference Subsidy (SSB) to pay for the progress that had been carried out previously was IDR 4.6 trillion as many as 751,735 units, and IDR 0.83 trillion for Public Housing Savings (Tapera) as many as 7,251 units.

Meanwhile, there are more than 100,000 housing units that have been realized from the target of 220,000 housing units, by 2023.

The Directorate General of Infrastructure and Housing Financing received a budget allocation of IDR 159.49 billion from the proposed needs of IDR 206.07 billion.
