Pertamina Adds 70 Thousand Subsidized Elpiji in Bangka Belitung

PANGKALPINANG - Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel added 70 thousand subsidized LPG cylinders in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, as the company's step in securing stock to meet the energy needs of the underprivileged.

"We hope that the public will not panic, because Pertamina has increased the supply of subsidized LPG on an optional basis in Bangka Belitung," said Sumbagsel Area Manager Communication, Relations and CSR Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, July 30.

He said the additional 70 thousand subsidized LPG was distributed to Bangka Island 40 thousand cylinders and Belitung Island 30 thousand subsidized LPG cylinders, as a step by Pertamina to ensure stocks of 3 kilograms of LPG in the Babel Region.

"This optional addition can increase the stock of 3 kilograms of LPG at the base, so that it is available when people need this subsidized LPG," he said.

He emphasized that those who are entitled to subsidized LPG are the less fortunate.

"If the public sees any misuse or diversion from this subsidized LPG, please inform us through the 135 call center," he said.

He hopes that the community will play a role in being able to save this state subsidy to the right party.

"With the active role of the community, it is hoped that it can help Pertamina's role in maintaining the stability of LPG supply in all regions," he said.
