Bank Muamalat Salurkan Hundreds Of Sacrificial Animals Through 60 Branch Offices

JAKARTA PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. is said to have handed over hundreds of sacrificial animals at 124 points channeled through 60 branch offices throughout Indonesia.

Bank Muamalat President Director Indra Falatehan said this step was a symbol of equitable distribution of sacrificial meat and a form of corporate social concern for the community.

"Sacred is part of efforts to carry out Islamic law. As the first purely sharia bank, we are committed to not only contributing to the people in terms of finance, but also in socio-religious activities such as the provision of sacrificial animals," he said in a written statement, Tuesday, June 27.

According to Indra, the selection of the location for the delivery of sacrificial animals is also adjusted to the existence of branch offices in the regions. This is because his party wants to make Bank Muamalat branch offices play an active role as the spearhead in building the company's positive image as a company that cares about society.

"Distribution distribution is one of our main focuses in order to send benefits to areas that fall into the outermost, poor and disaster-affected categories," he said.

Indra also said that in addition to providing and slaughtering sacrificial animals distributed in the form of fresh meat, Muamalat also made other innovations, namely by processing the meat of sacrificial animals into canned rendang. He said, this strategy is one of the efforts to make distribution more even.

"We are also processing into canned rendang so that it is easier to send and of course through a high standardization process so that it is safe to be consumed by people who receive it," he asserted.
