Angkasa Pura II: The Peak Of Lebaran Backflow At Soekarno-Hatta Airport Is Predicted On April 30

JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura II predicts that the peak backflow of Eid al-Fitr 1444 H at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta) will occur on April 30, 2023.

"The flight estimate is above 1,100, with the passenger movement at its peak of 160 thousand passengers," said Executive General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura II Dwi Ananda Wicaksana in Tangerang, Banten, quoted from Antara, Thursday, April 27.

Dwi Ananda Wicaksana said the airport had prepared many things for handling the peak of the backflow.

"God willing, we can serve these backflow passengers well," he added.

Dwi Ananda also explained that the airport had prepared public transportation for backflow passengers.

"The first is a taxi, the fleet is approximately 4,000 units and there are 521 units of buses," he explained.

He continued that apart from airport trains, his party also prepared 2,300 rental units and a shuttle of around 115 units.

Previously, it was reported that the total passengers of Soekarno-Hatta Airport on D+4 Lebaran 1444 H (On 27 April 2023) were 140,775 passengers.

In detail, the total number of passengers arriving (arrivals) was 77,829 passengers and the total departing passengers (departure) was 62,949 passengers.

Meanwhile, the total number of flights was 1,055, with details of 530 departure flights and 525 arrival flights.
