JAKARTA - Microsoft will soon bring Bing Chat to a third-party browser, to answer questions, generate content and provide knowledge to its users.

Currently, Bing Chat is only available on Edge but the company plans to add the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot to third-party browsers.

Microsoft is reportedly working on ventures for browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. The hat started to appear for some users.

Evidently, a thread on the Bing Reddit page shows a screenshot of the Bing Chat that works in Apple and Google's Safari browsers.

We are observing, will be rolling out gradually.

However, from the thread uploaded by Reddit Vinhphm users, it is still in the trial stage, Bing Chat is now no longer working at Safari.

Earlier a few days ago, Microsoft's Head of Advertising and Web Service, Mikhail Parakhin, through his Tweet, said this month the company would start experimenting with adding third-party browser support for Bing Chat.

Then, he confirmed this progress but unfortunately, Parakhin did not mention which third-party browser would get chatbot support, as quoted by TechGoing, Monday, June 5.

"We are experimenting, it will be launched in stages," Parakhin tweeted.

For information, Bing Chat has recently become very popular thanks to the embedded GPT-4 created by OpenAI, which is the pioneer of ChatGPT.

With Bing Chat, users get various tasks, such as browsing the web, making emails, articles, ideas, or paragraphs, comparing products or services, summarizing documents or web pages, making jokes, poetry, stories, pictures, tweets, codes, and more.
