Unlike Lionel Messi, Emiliano Martinez Is Claimed To Be Willing To Postpone Holidays For The Agenda Of The Argentine National Team

JAKARTA - Argentina's national team goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is claimed to have postponed the holiday schedule to carry out his duties. Martinez was willing to ignore his right to escort his team on a trip to Indonesia.

The Argentine national team just completed their FIFA Matchday agenda against Australia in Beijing, China on Wednesday, June 14. After the agenda, Albiceleste is waiting for a follow-up agenda to face the Indonesian national team on June 19 in Jakarta.

Martinez, who is familiarly called Dibu, is one of the players who has a crucial role for the Argentine national team at the 2022 World Cup. The Aston Villa goalkeeper was able to perform optimally to bring his team to victory.

Martinez is currently the number one goalkeeper in the Argentine national team. Coach Lionel Scaloni has even entrusted the former Arsenal goalkeeper to guard the crossbar since 2021.

Although Martinez chose with the team to continue his Asian tour agenda, it is not yet certain whether he will be included in the Argentine line-up against Indonesia later.

The reason is, Scaloni had said that he would provide opportunities for other players with a small number of minutes to play when facing the Indonesian national team at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Senayan later.
