JAKARTA - The Indonesian contingent added gold medal coffers at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia. Currently, the Red and White team has won seven gold medals.
The seventh gold medal was presented by Vovinam's martial arts sport. Indonesian women's athlete, Manis Trisna Dewi Wetan, became the best in the competition which was held at the Chroy Changvar Convention Center Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Saturday, May 6.
The Manik Trisna Dewi Wetan managed to get gold in the women's dragon tiger form numbers, defeating tough competitors such as the hosts Cambodia, Thailand, and Myanmar.
"Alhamdulillah, today the Indonesian Vovinam Federation presented the seventh medal today, following six match numbers. We managed to get one gold medal and three bronze medals," said Vovinam Indonesia National Team Manager Isnaldi Muhammad Dini when met after the match.
