A Man Injured After Watching Wild Racing In Tangerang, Allegedly Beaten By Gangsters

TANGERANG - A man with the initials PM is suspected of being the victim of an attack by a group of gangsters on Jalan Raya Serang KM 26.5 KM, Balaraja, Tangerang Regency, Sunday, August 6, at 03.30 WIB.

"Yes, that's right, we got a report of a beating against a resident by a group of people suspected of being gangsters. Currently, we are still digging up witness statements to identify the perpetrators," Balaraja Police Chief, AKP Badri Hasan when confirmed, Monday, August 7, morning.

Badri explained that the incident began when the victim and his friend watched illegal racing at the crime scene (TKP). Then, when they were about to go home, suddenly a group of motorists suspected of being gangsters immediately attacked him.

Instead of trying to escape, the victim was surrounded by the gangster group. Thus, he was beaten with a sharp weapon (sajam).

"The victim suffered burns to the forehead of his face and legs allegedly watered with hard water, lacerations to the left side of the head, broken fingers, and left hand wounds from being stabbed by a sharp weapon," he said.

Due to this incident, the victim was taken to the Ilanur Clinic by a friend named Adam and then referred to the Balaraja Hospital for further medical treatment.

"The victim was referred to the Balaraja Hospital for treatment," he concluded.
