The North Jakarta City Government (Pemkot Jakut) formed a disciplinary violation team following a letter of recommendation from the DKI Jakarta Inspectorate regarding sanctions against officials who forced employees of Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling (PPSU) to borrow money via online loans (pinjol).
"The DKI Jakarta Inspectorate has issued a recommendation. The mayor has now formed a team. The team is running, we will see if there are some disciplinary violations, we will inform and report them to the BKD (Regional Personnel Agency)," said North Jakarta Mayor Ali Maulana Hakim as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 2.
Ali said the team members consisted of elements from the BKD and the North Jakarta Inspectorate who would work to find out suspected disciplinary violations in the case.
"We just make sure from what the DKI Jakarta Inspectorate has checked. Then we confirm again, maybe there were some that were missed yesterday. We will see from the basis of the staffing regulations, which ones were violated because they were related to sanctions," Ali explained.
The recommendations given by the Inspectorate, said Ali, cover the entire case, including asking the North Jakarta City Government to form a team.
The Inspectorate also described allegations of disciplinary violations in accordance with Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline (PNS).
"About the whole thing, we'll see everything. Don't let one person be called asking for justification, this one is wrong. It's a hassle. We'll see later. Indeed, the recommendation of the Inspectorate is a disciplinary violation which is suspected to be the article," said Ali.

According to Ali, there is no duration or time limit set to trace the case. This is because sanctions are given after the team has finished work.
"Sanctions have not been determined by the Inspectorate. Later sanctions will be based on teams formed at the city level. After the city level team checks again, confirms again, the sanctions will be determined," said Ali.
Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government disabled MH from his position as Head of the Kelapa Gading Barat Village Section, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta for allegedly forcing PPSU officers to pay to online loan companies (online/pinjol).
"It has been deactivated, it is being processed by the Inspectorate," said Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono in response to the press, after planting trees in Kampung Rambutan 2 Reservoir, Ciracas District, East Jakarta, Friday.
According to him, the next sanction is determined based on the results of the inspection by the Inspectorate team, which refers to the disciplinary provisions of the state civil apparatus (ASN).
