NTT Prosecutor's Office Detains One New Suspect In The Provincial Government Land Asset Case

Investigators of the corruption crime at the East Nusa Tenggara Province High Prosecutor's Office have arrested the suspect Lydia Chrisanty Sunaryo (left wearing a vest/ANTARA/HO-Humas of the NTT High Prosecutor's Office.

KUPANG - Investigators of corruption at the East Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati NTT) have arrested a new suspect, Lydia Chrisanty Sunaryo (LCS) as Director of PT Sarana Wisata Internusa.

Lydia is a suspect in the alleged corruption in the use of land assets covering an area of 31,670 M2 belonging to the NTT Provincial Government in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, which allegedly cost the state around Rp8.5 billion.

"Today, investigators from the NTT Prosecutor's Office have detained a new suspect in the NTT government land asset case in Labuan Bajo," said Head of the Legal Information Section of the NTT Prosecutor's Office. A Raka Putra Dharmana in Kupang was reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 2.

Penahanan itu dilakukan penyidik tindak pidana korupsi Kejati NTT sesuai surat perint-339/N.3.5/Fd.1/08/2023 tanggal 2 Agustus 2023 setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan dalam status sebagai tersangka.

He explained that the suspect was suspected together with Heri Pranyoto (HP) as Director of PT Sarana Investama Manggabar (SIM), who had previously been named a suspect and detained by investigators from the NTT High Prosecutor's Office.

The suspect takes care of the issuance of building permits (IMB) and building rights (HGB) on behalf of PT SIM at the West Manggarai National Land Agency (BPN), with a validity period of 30 years that is not in accordance with the validity period of the cooperation agreement, which is 25 years.

Previously, the NTT Prosecutor's Office detained two suspects, namely Thelma DS as the Head of Asset Utilization of the NTT Provincial Secretariat and Heri Pranyoto as Director of PT Sarana Investama Manggabar in the alleged corruption case of using 31,670 m2 land assets belonging to the local provincial government.

In this case, the state losses incurred from the actions of the suspects resulted in state losses reaching more than Rp. 8.5 billion based on the report on the results of the NTT BPKP audit.
