JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono removed Fidri Arnaldi from the position of President Director (Managing Director) of Bank DKI. Fidri has served as the boss of Bank DKI for two years, starting from June 2021.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional-Owned Enterprises Development Agency (BP BUMD) Nasrudin Djoko Surjono explained that the replacement of the position of President Director of Bank DKI was determined at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (GMS).
"The shareholder's approval was decided at the Extraordinary GMS on August 1, 2023," Djoko said in his statement, Wednesday, August 2.
Djoko explained that currently the DKI Provincial Government as the shareholder has appointed the Director of Technology and Operations of Bank DKI as the Acting Director of Bank DKI.
"The GMS has dismissed Mr. Fidri Arnaldy and appointed Mr. Amirul Wicaksono to double as the executor of the tuigas in carrying out the authority of the main director until the appointment of the company's definitive president director in accordance with applicable laws and regulations," he said.
Furthermore, Djoko emphasized that the replacement of the President Director of Bank DKI was carried out to improve company governance and build a reliable internal control system and risk management.
"This change of management is expected as an effort to continue to improve capabilities and competitiveness, as well as be adaptive in anticipating the dynamics of banking technology changes," he explained.
