Central Jakarta Health Sub-dept. Record 900 Toddlers Still Lack Of Nutrition

JAKARTA - Hundreds of toddlers in Central Jakarta fall into the category of underprivileged nutrition to stunting recorded by the Central Jakarta Health Office.

"Our data shows that 900 are included in the stunting category, malnutrition and underweight or weight loss," said Head of the Central Jakarta Health Sub-dept. Rismasari to reporters, Tuesday, July 25.

Rismasari said that his party also continues to make efforts to reduce the stunting rate in Jakarta Action activities. Providing food intake assistance also continues to be done cooked by cadres themselves.

"The nutritional intake has been weighed and pushed to residents whose children are stunted," he said.

Meanwhile, Hilwana, a resident of RT 05/13 Petamburan, said that his party was quite happy with the provision of nutritious food assistance to their children who were stunted.

"Earlier, my son weighed only 10 kilograms (KG) which should be 17 (kg). Indeed, my son is in the stunting category and was given eggs and milk," he said.
