Police Arrest 2 Murderers In Jambi

JAMBI - Police arrested two perpetrators of the murder that occurred on Thursday, July 20. The murder occurred after the victim had an argument with a woman.

"The victim, with the initials HRY (40) died after making a fuss with a woman with the initials SV (18)," said Jambi Police Chief Kombes Eko Wahyudi as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 21.

The victim got to know the woman through the chat application. The victim and SV (18) got into an argument.

The commotion was heard by HS (19), SV's brother-in-law (16) who lives in the boarding houses.

Not accepting the commotion between the victims HRY (40) and SV (18), HS (19) who were the perpetrators immediately took a knife and stabbed him to the victim.

The incident occurred at a boarding house on Jalan Gajah Mada, Jelutung District, Jambi City.

Then the perpetrator, assisted by his colleague AR (19), took a knife and stabbed the victim's body. The perpetrator AR (19) helped hold the victim's rebel body, then the perpetrator HS (19) took a lump of rock and hit the victim in the head.

However, after that, the victim managed to escape on his motorbike and tried to get to the hospital.

Before getting to the hospital, the victim fell from the motorbike because his body was shaking and was holding back the pain in his head. Arriving at the victim's hospital, he immediately received medical help.

However, the victim's condition worsened and died before his family arrived.

Currently, the two HS and AR perpetrators have been arrested, and further investigations will be carried out to account for their actions.

The police not only secured the perpetrators, but also secured SV (18) as a witness at the scene.

For their actions, the perpetrators are subject to Article 170 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code concerning violence simultaneously with the threat of 12 years in prison or Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning the loss of another person's life with a threat of 15 years in prison.
