Member of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Cinta Mega, finally apologized for causing a commotion for playing games in the plenary meeting room of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

Cinta Mega realized that her actions violated ethics as a member of the council. He also accepted whatever sanctions were imposed by the party led by Megawati Soekarnoputri.

"I apologize to all parties, especially my faction for the incident and I accept the consequences in the form of any sanctions," said Cinta Mega in a short message, Friday, July 21.

The chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Gembong Warsono, also apologized for the actions of his faction members. This was conveyed by Gembong after holding a faction leadership meeting that discussed the violation of the ethics of Cinta Mega.

"For that incident, of course I am the chairman of the faction, from the bottom of our hearts, I apologize for the incident. Hopefully this is the first and last incident and learning for all of us members of the PDIP Struggle faction," said Gembong at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building.

Gembong admitted that his party entrusted the clarification and defense of members of his faction, Cinta Mega, who played games in the plenary meeting room yesterday.

Many think Cinta Mega is playing a slot gambling platform through a video of a plenary meeting circulating. However, Cinta Mega denied it. He admitted that he only had time to play a puzzle game called Candy Crush.

This was agreed upon in a meeting of the faction leaders which had just been held in the PDIP faction room of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"We believe 100 percent of what you have said, you love Mega. Is it true or not, it's Mother Cinta Mega's business. When we called her, she stated that she didn't play slots, but she played games. That's what was conveyed to me," said Gembong.

Gembong explained, Cinta Mega admitted that the delay in the plenary meeting schedule resulted in her, who came at the initial time, waiting longer. So, Cinta Mega feels bored and plays games on the tablet that she brings to the plenary meeting room since before the meeting starts.

However, to Gembong, Cinta claimed that the game was not played when the plenary meeting began to be held.

"The explanation is that Mrs. Cinta Mega is like this, 'I played games before the plenary implementation. When the plenary started, I didn't do that game. So I put the iPad next to it', that's the explanation," explained Gembong.

However, Gembong stated that his party continued to impose sanctions in the form of a strong written warning for violating ethics as a member of the council in carrying out his work.

"For yesterday's incident, the PDI-P faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD gave strict sanctions, giving a stern warning to the person concerned, namely Ibu Cinta Mega because she had done something that should not be done in a plenary meeting," he said.
