Members Of The Papuan Police Mobile Brigade Who Were Hit By Arrows While Securing The Dogiyai Riots Were Referred To The Police Hospital

JAYAPURA - Member of the Mobile Brigade of the Papua Police, Bripka Laode Imran, who was seriously injured as a result of being stunned while securing riots in Dogiyai, Central Papua, was evacuated and referred to Jakarta.

The victim was flown by Batik Air plane and accompanied by doctors and nurses from Bhayangkara Jayapura Hospital on Sunday, July 16.

The Head of the Papua Police Health Office, Kombes Dr. Nariyana, told Antara in Jayapura on Sunday that the victim had been evacuated to Jakarta for intensive treatment for his injuries.

"Indeed, our victim referred to the Sukanto Police Hospital in Jakarta to get the treatment of his wounds due to being hit by arrows while securing the riots in Dogiyai," Nariyana said, as quoted by Antara.

Previously, the victim of Bripka Laode Imran was treated at Nabire Hospital and Bhayangkara Hospital in Jayapura.

When he arrived at Bhayangkara Hospital, said Kombes Dr. Nariyana, the victim was unconscious due to an arrow stab wound with a length of about 130-150 cm.

At Bhayangkara Hospital, the victim was given therapy. Patients undergo therapy in the form of installing oxygen as much as three liters per minute, installing monitors, installing catheters, and providing infusion liquids.
