"The earthquake caused damage to buildings in 35 locations spread across 12 villages (sub-districts) in Bantul Regency," said Bantul BPBD Chief Executive Agus Yuli Herwanto in a press statement quoting Antara.
Details of the impact in the 35 locations are Bambanglipuro District one location, Dlingo two locations, Imogiri three locations, Jetis one location, Kasihan two locations, Kretek five locations, Pajangan one location, Pandak one location, Piyungan one location, Pleret one location, Pundong three locations, and Sanden 14 locations.
He said the earthquake also caused seven victims, one person died due to a heart attack during the earthquake and six others suffered minor injuries.
"Light injury victims have received treatment and treatment by PSC 119 Health Office (Health Office) Bantul, Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bantul, Panembahan Senopati Hospital, PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital, and UII Hospital," he said.
Of the six people who were lightly injured, one of them had to be hospitalized and five others were hospitalized.
