JAKARTA - President Volodymyr Zelensky praised Ukrainian forces for making progress "in all sectors", after visiting its troops at the front lines of the eastern and southern region while sharing awards on Monday.

"Today in all sectors, our army is making progress. It's been a happy day," President Zelensky said in his evening video address, delivered from a train after visiting two frontline areas.

President Zelensky's office uploaded four travel videos, showing at least three meetings.

One location is in the eastern Donetsk region, a focal point in the conflict that has been going on for 16 months. One other location is in the area described as the Berdiansk sector in the south, and another location is also on the south frontline, further west.

In the last video, President Zelensky said he had seen "various brigades, all different and completely heroic people."

"Different, but with one goal, victory over the racists," he said, in a reference insulting the Russian army.

The visit to the Donetsk region, according to the president's office, involved Khortytsia's operational-strategy groups, including soldiers who had fought against Russian troops in the Bakhmut sector, where fighting was fierce.

The first video shows President Zelensky handing over the award at an undisclosed location and checking maps with Ukrainian Army Commander Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi.

"I have the honor of being here today, talking to the commander and first of all I thank you, thank you for protecting our country, sovereignty, family, children, Ukraine," President Zelensky said.

The second video shows him at a refueling station. Wearing his signature military khaki shirt, he stood with soldiers who were queuing at a counter posing for photos with soldiers and women working there.

In the third video, President Zelensky awards, poses with the army, and once again checks maps with the officers. The loud boom resonated at least twice during the video.
