Panji Envoy Gumilang Ponpes Al-Zaytun Hands Over 5 Investigation Team Questions

The envoy from Panji Gumilang, the head of the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, Indramayu Regency, has submitted an answer to five questions raised by the investigation team formed by the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil. "The suggestion from Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School came to Gedung Sate on Monday to submit an answer. So the envoy was present yesterday afternoon, the answer was received," said Head of the West Java Province National Unity and Political Agency, HR Iip Hidajat, when confirmed in Bandung, Antara, Tuesday, June 27. He explained that the questions asked by the investigation team were answered in writing by the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School. "As a follow-up, the investigation team will forward this answer to the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs of Indonesia to be reviewed," he said. This is because currently the handling related to the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School has become the authority of the central government. "So these questions, we continued by us to the center, are now being taken by the center, further studied by the center," he said. He did not explain in detail the answer from the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, however, with the receipt of the answer, the task of the investigation team also ended. The investigation team consists of dealing with various elements such as Islamic organizations, MUI, to the police and the prosecutor's office. "We cannot convey the contents, let us convey them to the central government for follow-up," he said. There were five points of questions raised against the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School and four questions were entrusted by the Central MUI while the rest came from the investigation team. The four questions entrusted by MUI include the belief in the source of the book according to Panji that the holy book is the Kalam of the Prophet, not the man of Allah SWT.

The second question about the Holy Land is not in Mecca but in Indonesia, thirdly, related to the interpretation of verses in the Qur'an and the last one regarding interpretation of the relationship of the opposite sex.
