Black And Shirted Party, Ganjar Follows The Peak Of Bung Karno Month

PDI-P (PDIP) Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo attended the peak commemoration of Bung Karno Month (BBK) which was held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) in Senayan, Central Jakarta today, Saturday, June 24.

Ganjar is seen wearing a red shirt complete with the PDIP logo. The black skullcap worn by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri when she was announced as a presidential candidate was also seen on her head.

Arriving in SUGBK, the Governor of Central Java was greeted by a number of party elites, one of whom was Ahmad Basarah. Ganjar took a photo with PDIP cadres in the VVIP room and waved to those outside.

Currently, Ganjar is in the same room and talking with Megawati who was accompanied by the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Prananda Prabowo. There was also the Acting Chairperson of the Mardiono United Development Party (PPP).

Before arriving at SUGBK following the peak of Bung Karno's Month, Ganjar had time to tour the Anyar Bahari market while greeting traders. At that time, a grocery store trader gave him a shirt.

The shirt was patterned with boxes wrapped in red, white, and black when Jokowi campaigned for himself to become Governor of DKI Jakarta in 2012. Ganjar also accepted the merchant's gift and wore it.

Previously, PDIP would hold a grand consolidation with the theme 'Grove the Hands of Unity for Greater Indonesia' on Saturday, June 24. Hundreds of thousands of party cadres bearing the bull symbol are expected to crowd the GBK area.

"So it is extraordinary that this activity will be attended by all participants from all over Indonesia who are assumed to reach 100 thousand people," said Chairman of the Bung Karno Month Committee, Rano Karno in a written statement, Wednesday, June 21.
