Selling Methamphetamine At Residents' Houses, Students In Tebing Tinggi, North Sumatra Do Not Move When Ambushed

The Tebing Tinggi Police Narcotics Satres personnel arrested a student with the initials MH (26) suspected of being a drug dealer of methamphetamine on Jalan Flamboyan, Tebing Tinggi City, North Sumatra (North Sumatra).

From the hands of the perpetrators, the police secured 0.65 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

"The perpetrator MH was arrested by personnel, Wednesday (June 31) at around 15.00 WIB, on Jalan Flamboyan, Tebing Tinggi City," said Head of Public Relations of the Tebing Tinggi Police AKP Agus Arianto in a written statement, Saturday, June 4, confiscated by Antara.

Agus explained that the evidence that was secured was 13 transparent plastic clips containing methamphetamine with a gross weight of 1.82 grams and a net weight of 0.65 grams.

Then a white women's wallet with floral patterns, a small transparent plastic clip that is not empty.

"One white plastic pipette in the form of a shovel, one Rp 50,000 note, one Rp 10,000 note, and two Rp 5,000 banknotes," he said.

Agus said the arrest was based on reports from the public that a man was disturbing inside a resident's house on Jalan Flamboyan. The man is suspected of owning and selling methamphetamine.

"Officers immediately conducted an investigation by visiting the TKP address of the house in question [Wednesday (May 31) at around 14.30 WIB], after arriving in front of the house, the situation opened," he said.

Agus said officers saw a man sitting on the floor in the living room, then the officer allowed him to enter while introducing himself as a police officer.

Then the officer asked the identity of the perpetrator, and looked like he was panicked and shocked. The personnel searched the body/wearing of the perpetrator and managed to find a white women's wallet with floral patterns from the right front pocket of the pants worn by the perpetrator.

"After being examined in the wallet, it was found that there was a transparent plastic clip containing 13 transparent plastic clips containing white crystalline powder suspected of being methamphetamine," he said.

Agus added that then one white plastic pipette in the form of a shovel, one Rp50,000 banknote, one Rp 10,000 note, and two Rp 5,000 banknotes.

Then the Narcotics Satres officers asked who the evidence was and then the perpetrator admitted and replied that the methamphetamine type narcotics belonged to him.

Furthermore, the perpetrator and all the evidence found were taken to the Tebing Tinggi Police Narcotics Unit office for further processing

"The perpetrator is suspected of violating Article 114 Paragraph (1) Subs Article 112 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning Narcotics," said Head of Public Relations of the Tebing Tinggi Police.
