TRENGGALEK - Trenggalek Police, East Java, dismantled a five-month-old toddler's grave with the initials MAOR who was reported to have died after immunization.
Trenggalek Police Chief AKBP Alith Alarino explained that the demolition of baby MAOR's grave was part of an effort to complete the investigation file on the exact cause of the death of couple Mukono (49) and Adelia's (17) child from Gemblep Village, Pogalan District.
"This is for the benefit of the autopsy that will be carried out by the East Java Regional Police medical team," said Alith as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 5.
The results of the autopsy will then be used as additional material to complete the investigation file that has been carried out by the Trenggalek Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
This case came to the attention of the police after both MAOR's parents complained to their village midwife because the death of a five-month-old toddler occurred three days after undergoing immunization at the Gemblep Village midwife on Tuesday (21/3).
Before he died, the MAOR toddler had experienced a high fever accompanied by convulsions.
Mukono and Adelia's baby was taken to the public health center and then referred to RSUD drm Soedomo Trenggalek before finally dying on Friday (24/3) or three days after the immunization.
