Ganjar Never Signs Commitment To Availability To Host The U-20 World Cup

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranwo admitted that he had never signed a commitment to be willing to host the U-20 World Cup.

"Who is this Ganjar actually. I have never signed anything," said Ganjar in a special interview with Najwa Shihab which was seen on Najwa Shihab's YouTube account, Tuesday, April 4.

Incidentally, one of the areas in Central Java, Solo became one of the venues for the U-20 World Cup. Ganjar admitted that he understood the feelings of the national team players. Therefore, Ganjar apologized because they failed to play on the world sports stage.

"I am the Governor of Central Java whose implementation is in Solo, but I can really understand how the younger siblings in U-20 and football supporters feel. In this context I want to apologize to them," said Ganjar.

Ganjar apologized not for the statement rejecting Israel's arrival, but for apologizing that the young people in the U-20 national team failed to appear in the 4-year-old event.

"Keep the spirit going," said Ganjar encouraging the U-20 national team players.

Regarding the attitude of rejecting Israel's arrival to the country, Ganjar emphasized that it was a personal attitude. As a leader, he must convey the attitude he considers to be known to the public.

"But of course in another context we have an attitude that I must convey to the public. So for the younger siblings apologize, continue to practice," said Ganjar.
