The general chairmen (ketum) of political parties attended the Ramadan Gathering agenda with the President of the Republic of Indonesia held by the National Mandate Party (PAN) at the PAN DPP Office, Jakarta, Sunday, April 2. PAN chairman Zulkifli Hasan as the host was present earlier, at 10.21 WIB. Plt. Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Muhammad Mardiono arrived at the location of the event at 10.35 WIB, then Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto at 10.44 WIB. Followed by Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto arrived at 11.00 WIB, and the Head of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar at 11.17 WIB. Previously, PAN scheduled Ramadan Gathering with Indonesian President Joko Widodo which in its plan also invited political party leaders, namely PDI Perjuangan, Golkar, Gerindra, PKB, and PPP. PAN chairman Zulkifli Hasan said this activity was a strategic event for political party leaders to have a dialogue, discuss, exchange ideas, and find solutions to various problems facing Indonesia today. "We believe that by only working together, we can accelerate the realization of the ideals of independence and achieve a common goal in creating the progress of the nation and state," said Zulkifli Hasan in a written statement, Saturday. He said PAN as the host felt very happy and grateful for the trust given by the President and the general chairmen of political parties in the government to hold the event.

Zulkifli emphasized that PAN is committed to establishing good cooperation with all political parties and building a healthy, encouraging and soothing political atmosphere. He believes that by only working together, Indonesia can accelerate the realization of the ideals of independence and achieve a common goal in creating the progress of the nation and state.
