78th National Electricity Day - Asian Enlith 2023 Successfully Held In Indonesia: Arrears In Dedication And The Spirit Of Collective Energy Transition

JAKARTA - The 78th National Electricity Day - Enlit Asia 2023 has been successfully held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD on November 14-16, 2023. This event was attended by more than 11,000 participants from 50 countries, 100 companies as sponsors and more than 200 companies from within and outside the country involved as exhibit participants.

The Enlit Asia 2023 event in the framework of the 78th National Electricity Day has succeeded in presenting various activities that provide insight and experience for business people and the electricity industry.

Chairman of the Indonesian Electricity Society Evy Haryadi, in his remarks expressed his gratitude for the success of this event.

"We have discussed many issues in the energy sector, shared ideas, and strengthened networks that have the potential to shape the trajectory of our energy future. Of course, this event has been a milestone for the dedication and collective spirit that everyone brings in dialogue about energy transitions. In the spirit of collaboration and shared responsibility, we have witnessed how the nation, industry and society rise to face challenges. Thank you for the participation, enthusiasm, and commitment to moving on to a cleaner and greener future," explained Evy.

In line with this, the Chief Executive of the 78th National Electricity Day Arsyadany G. Akmalaputri expressed his gratitude to all those who have supported the event.

"I would like to thank all parties involved, so that this event has received a lot of appreciation from exhibitions, visitors and seminar participants. This can all happen because of the hard work and close coordination of all parties for the success of this event," he said.

There are many agreements and cooperations that existed during the 78th HLN-Enlit Asia 2023 event. On the first day alone, at least six MoUs were signed between PT PLN (Persero) and leading companies in the energy sector such as China Southern Power Grid International (HK) Co Limited, Hitachi Sakti Energy Indonesia, Electricite De France, GE Vernova, Danish Energy Agency, and Huawei.

"Of course we hope that in the future there will be more cooperation to advance the energy and electricity industry," added Arsyadany.

Event Director, Energy Portfolio Clarikon Events Asia - Simon Hoare said that his party is proud to be collaborating with the MKI to present this extraordinary event in the energy and electricity industry.

"We hope that this good cooperative relationship can be continued to establish good relations between stakeholders in the field of energy and electricity. At least, this event was attended by more than 13,000 participants from 50 countries and more than 100 companies participating as sponsors. No less than 200 companies from within and outside the country involved as exhibit participants, which of course made many opportunities to discuss and cooperate. In addition, this event is also filled with conference activities held at Nusantara Hall and at the Knowledge Hub with more than 50 topics of discussion and the number of speakers as many as 300 people," said Simon.

Enlit Asia 2024 will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Secretary General of the Indonesian Electricity Society & Chief Executive of HLN78 - Arsyadany G Akmalaputri symbolically handed over the Asian Enlit trophy to the acting CEO of MyCEB Zain Azrai bin Rashid as the host of the 2024 Asian Enlit. The delivery of the trophy was carried out at the Enlit Asia booth on November 14, 2023.

Enlit Asia is an annual conference and exhibition that brings together two major events in the electricity and energy sector, namely POWERGENEN Asia and Asian Utility Week. This event is a platform for electric and energy industry players to show innovative solutions, services and products that are in line with the low energy carbon strategy in Asia. With the gathering of all players in the field of electricity, this event is expected to contribute greatly to strengthening and accelerating energy transitions in the ASEAN region, especially in Indonesia.
