Regarding The Issue Of Ahok's Salary Reaching Billions Of Rupiah, Pertamina Opens Voice

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) has opened its voice regarding the issue of salary or honorarium of the President Commissioner and the Board of Commissioners of Pertamina which reached billions.

Pertamina's Vice President of Corporate Communication Fadjar Djoko Santoso revealed that the information circulating was not correct.

According to him, the amount of remuneration for members of the Board of Commissioners is determined by the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) and is valid every year for one year starting January the year.

The determination refers to the guidelines as stated in the Ministerial Regulation of State-Owned Enterprises Number PER 13/MBU/09/2021 dated September 24, 2021 concerning the Sixth Amendment to the Regulation of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Number PER-04/MBU/2014 concerning Guidelines for Determination of Directors Income, Board of Commissioners, and Supervisory Board of SOEs.

"In the news, it is stated that the honorarium of the Commissioner is said to reach billions of rupiah per month, this is not true," said Fadjar in his statement to the media, Saturday, August 5.

Fadjar added that the determination of income in the form of salaries or honorariums, fixed allowances and facilities should take into account business scale factors, business complexity factors, inflation rates, Company financial conditions and capabilities, and other relevant factors, and should not conflict with statutory regulations. Other relevant factors include income levels that apply generally in similar industries.

"The amount of salary or honorarium is based on many factors, one of which is the company's financial capacity," concluded Fadjar.
