The Ministry Of PUPR Targets The Arrangement Of The National Axis Of IKN Phase I Completed December 2023

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) targets that the IKN Phase I National Axiversity Arrangement in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) will be completed in December 2023.

The Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force Implementation Division of the Ministry of PUPR Didiet Arief said that the progress of the National Advertisement Work for Phase I (Plaza Seremony) until the end of July 2023 had reached 48.38 percent.

"This progress is faster than the plan target set at 46.8 percent. For this reason, we are optimistic that the work can be completed according to the contract, namely in December 2023," said Didiet through a press release, Friday, August 4.

Philosotically, the National Axis at KIPP IKN Nusantara is an open space that is a symbol of harmonious relations between nature, humans, and the noble values of culture.

Later, this National Axis will imagingly connect the Presidential Palace to Mangrove Ecopark through open space series, ranging from Plaza Ceremony, Civil Plaza/Bukit Flag, Plaza Bhinneka, Science and Tech Park, Plaza Adi Budaya, Plaza Show, to Plaza Democracy.

The National Assembrance Work for Phase I (Plaza Ceremony) itself is carried out in stages with the Design and Build mechanism since December 2022.

The construction was carried out by PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero), with its Construction Management Consultant by PT Virama Karya (Persero) KSO PT Laras Sembada, with a contract value of Rp365.8 billion.

The arrangement of this building is divided into several zones, namely Zone 1 which includes the North Wetland and the Visitor Center Building. Then, Zone 2 consists of Ceremonial Lawn, Retail & Gallery Building, East Plaza, West Plaza, and Toilet & Service Building.

Furthermore, Zone 3 includes the Central Promenade, Forest Walk, Forest Trail, Mini Ampitheater, and Wetland parts of the South. Then, Zone 4 and Zone 5 consist of Shared Street.

The scope of work includes planning, preparation and land maturation, landscape work in several zones. Furthermore, drainage work, roads, visitor center buildings, retail buildings, and toilets.
