JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) accompanied by Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, and Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil, inaugurated the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Section II Cigombong-Cibadak Toll Road, today, Friday, August 4.

On this occasion, President Jokowi said that the construction of the Bocimi toll road was a gift for the people of West Java. This is because the Republic of Indonesia will celebrate its 78th Independence Day, on August 17.

"Yes, this is the gift of the 78th Independence Day (RI) to West Java Province (West Java), especially to Sukabumi," Jokowi told the media crew, Friday, August 4.

Jokowi added, in the future, the government through the Ministry of PUPR will encourage the acceleration of the construction of the Bocimi Toll Road as a whole.

"(For the construction of the next side of the toll road) it will be pushed as soon as possible, until later to West Sukabumi," he said.
