JAKARTA - Deloitte Indonesia, in its annual event held for the third time, has proudly announced the winners of Indonesia's Best Managed Companies 2023 on July 28. Eleven private companies were selected for this event, each recognized for their organizational success and their significant contributions to the industry and Indonesian economy.

To earn this prestigious title, these companies had to go through a rigorous assessment led by a multidisciplinary and independent jury panel. Four main pillars form the basis of the assessment, including strategy, capability and innovation, culture and commitment, and governance and finance.

This year, five new companies have won this award for the first time. The five companies are PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (Cinema XXI) the largest cinema chain in Indonesia, PT Paragon Universa Utama (Paragon Corp) operating in the beauty and personal care sector, PT Mayora Indah Tbk in the food and beverages sector, PT Sat Nusapersada Tbk in the electronic manufacturing field, and PT Eka Mas Republik in the internet services, all of which have received the award for the first time.

Hans Gunadi, President Director and CEO of PT Nusantara Sejahtera Jaya Tbk, stated that this award is the result of hard work in providing the best movie-watching experience for film audiences in Indonesia. "It is an honor for Cinema XXI to be recognized as one of the winners in Indonesia's Best Managed Company. This strengthens our commitment to delivering uncompromising quality, affordable entertainment, and always being the best in the film industry," he added.

Meanwhile, six other companies successfully maintained their Best Managed status. Among them are PT Great Giant Pineapple and PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk, winning the award for three consecutive years. PT ACE Hardware Indonesia Tbk, PT Indesso Primatama, PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk, and PT Mowilex Indonesia have maintained their titles for two consecutive years.

For Tommy Wattimena, CEO of PT Great Giant Pineapple, the success of winning the Best Managed Company award in Indonesia three times in a row is evidence of the firm dedication and exceptional teamwork of the company's employees. "Our success lies not just in winning awards, but in consistently raising the bar for excellence and innovation," said Tommy.
