Zulhas, as Zulkifli Hasan is familiarly called, explained that the proposed ban on the sale of imported products at a minimum price of 100 US dollars will be regulated in the revision of the Minister of Trade Regulation (Permendag) Number 50 of 2020 concerning Licensing Usah, Advertising, Development, and Supervision of Business Actors in Electronic Trade (PPMSE).
Furthermore, Zulhas said that the revision of the Permendag 50 of 2020 is currently still in the process of harmonization between ministries. He hopes that the final harmonization can be completed on August 1, 2023.
"On August 1, it will be harmonized, I heard from the Kemenkop UKM that they have agreed, but there are others," he said.
