Pertamina Sells Limited Pertamax Green RON 95 In Jakarta And Surabaya, The Price Is IDR 13,500 Per Liter

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) officially launched a non-environmental subsidized fuel oil (BBM) product, Pertamax Green, Monday, July 24.

This fuel with an octane value of 95 is the result of a mixture of bioethenol with Pertamax fuel.

At its launch, Pertamax Green is priced at IDR 13,500, a difference of IDR 1,100 with Pertamax which is worth 92 octane, and only IDR 500 difference with Pertamax Turbo which is currently priced at IDR 15,000 per liter.

For the initial launch stage, this environmentally friendly fuel will be available at 15 gas stations with a distribution of 10 gas stations in Surabaya and 5 gas stations in the southern Jakarta area.

The ten gas stations in Surabaya include Jemursari, Sutomo, Mulyosari, Merr, Ketintang, Karang Asem, Mastrip, Citra Raya Boulevard, Juanda, and Buduran.

Then five gas stations in South Jakarta, namely, Pertamina gas stations coded 3112802 MT Haryono, Pertamina 3112402 Fatmawati gas stations, Pertamina 3112601 gas stations in Lenteng Agung Raya, Pertamina gas stations coded 31124001 at Fatmawati Raya, 3112204 gas stations in Kebayoran Lama.

Previously, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) stipulated the Decree of the Director General of Oil and Gas Number 252.K/HK.02/DJM/2023 concerning Standards and Quality (Specification) of Gasoline Oil Fuel (Gasoline) RON 95 with a 5 percent Bioethenol Mix (E5) marketed domestically.

Head of the Communication, Public Information Service, and Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Agung Pribadi emphasized that the Decree of the Director General of Oil and Gas stipulates and imposes the standard and quality provisions (specification) of gasoline oil with an octane number (RON) 95 (E0) and 5 percent of bioethenol (E100) bioethanol fuel.

"This Kepdirjen stipulates and imposes the standard and quality provisions of gasoline with RON 95 and a mixture of 5 percent of Bioethenol. The specifications are set in accordance with those listed in the attachment to the Kepdirjen. One of them is regulated by the octane number (RON) of at least 95," Agung told the media quoted on Saturday, July 22.

As stipulated in the Kepdirjen, continued Agung, the standard and quality (specification) of pure gasoline oil (E0) with the octane number (RON) 95 refers to Attachment II of the Decree of the Director General of Oil and Gas No. 110.K/MG.01/DJM/2022 concerning Standards and Quality (Specification) of Gasoline Oil Fuel (Gasoline) RON 91 and RON 95 which are marketed domestically.

Meanwhile, the standard and quality (Specification) of Bioethenol-type Nabati Fuel (E100) refers to the Decree of the Director General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation Number 95.K/EK.05/DJE/2023 concerning Standards and Quality (Specification) of Bioethenol Types of Fuel as Other Fuels Marketed Domestically.

Pertamax Green is the second type of fuel mixed with vegetable ingredients. Previously, Pertamina had sold biodesel which is a mixture of 35 percent palm oil and 65 percent diesel.
