The world's prestigious motorcycle racing event organized by Pertamina will be held at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) from 13 to 15 October 2023.
Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati said Pertamina's support in this activity was not only limited to encouraging automotive sports, but also being able to encourage the national economy, as well as Indonesian MSMEs.

Nicke revealed that this automotive sporting event last year has succeeded in contributing to the national economy with a transaction value of around IDR 5 trillion.

"Direct work workers who were absorbed at the time of the event reached 4,600 people. So economic growth rotates, transactions are such large, labor absorption also occurs," said Nicke.
For this reason, Nicke hopes that the enthusiasm of the community in the second year of the Pertamina GP of Indonesia event will increase. So that the impact on the economy, employment and MSMEs will increase.
Pertamina together with local governments and organizers also continue to strive to improve infrastructure facilities at the event location, in order to add comfort to the spectators who attended directly watching the international motorcycle race.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan said, Pertamina GP of Indonesia is one of Pertamina's efforts to take part in activities carried out both nationally and internationally.
