Wait For The Asset Confiscation Bill To Be Ratified, KPK: The Most Fear Of Being Compoverished Corruptors

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is still waiting for the ratification of the Asset Confiscation Bill (RUU). This law is considered to make it easier for law enforcement officials to impoverish corruptors.

"These corruptors are the most afraid to be impoverished," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in a KPK RI YouTube broadcast quoted on Friday, June 30.

Even so, Ali ensured that the confiscation of corruptors' assets would continue to be carried out with existing laws. "For the time being, we are still waiting for the passing of the law on the confiscation of assets resulting from the crime," he said.
