Happy Eid Al-Fitr, This Is Sri Mulyani's Hope And Prayer

JAKARTA - Entering the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1444 second Hijrah, the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati congratulated and hoped.

Through a video upload on his personal Instagram account @smindrawati, Minister Sri Mulyani expressed her gratitude to the public after a full month of fasting Ramadan.

"Alhamdulillah, after a full month we have performed the fast of Ramadan, refrain from all lusts and God willing, increase our faith and piety to Allah SWT," Sri Mulyani said in her upload, quoted on Sunday, April 23.

Sri Mulyani also welcomed the celebration of Lebaran 2023 which returned to normal this year, after three years of the world and Indonesia experiencing a pandemic.

"We are grateful that this is the moment that all Muslims have been waiting for the most. Eid with our families and loved ones, especially after three years of the world and Indonesia experiencing a pandemic," he added.

"With all humility, my family and I, as well as the entire family of the Ministry of Finance, wish you a happy Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri. Minal aidin wal faizin, apologize born and inner for all mistakes, shortcomings, both intentional and unintentional," said Sri Mulyani.

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani also expressed her hopes at this year's Eid.

"May Allah SWT meridhoi and grant blessings to all the deeds of goodness and worship that we have done. May we all continue to get an overflow of healthy blessings to be able to meet again with the month of Ramadan in the coming year, and can celebrate the moment of victory in the following years." he said.

"Welcome back together with your family, enjoy this fitri moment with great warmth and joy, sincerity, because we are able to forgive each other," he added.

Previously, the Indonesian government through the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) decided on Eid al-Fitr or 1 Syawal 1444 Hijriah in Indonesia to fall on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

The decision was based on the results of the Isbat trial, the initial determination of Syawal 1443 H, which was led directly by the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas at the Ministry of Religion Office, Thursday, April 20, 2023 evening WIB.

"The consensus has set 1 Syawal 1444 Hijri to fall on Saturday 22 April 2023," said Religious Affairs Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas at a press conference Thursday, April 20, 2023.
