Paying IDR 530.17 Billion Dividends, Astra Otoparts Shareholders Get IDR 110 Per Share

JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO) approved the distribution of cash dividends worth IDR 530.17 billion. This amount is 40 percent of the 2022 net profit or around IDR 110 per share.

President Director of Astra Otoparts Hamdhani Dzulkarnaen Salim said that an interim dividend of IDR 106.03 billion or IDR 22 per share was paid on 24 October 2022.

The remaining IDR 424.13 billion or IDR 88 per share will be paid on May 11, 2023, to shareholders whose names are registered in the Company's Register of Shareholders on April 28, 2023.

"Thank you to all stakeholders for the full support given so that Astra Otoparts can continue to develop synergistically through various innovations in both the automotive and non-automotive categories, as well as achieve positive performance in the coming years," Dzulkarnaen quoted Antara as saying.

On this occasion, the shareholders also approved and accepted the Annual Report for the 2022 financial year, including ratifying the report on the supervisory duties of the Board of Commissioners, as well as ratifying the Consolidated Financial Statements for the 2022 financial year which had been audited by the Public Accounting Firm Tanudiredja, Wibisana, Rintis & Rekan, with fair opinion in all material respects.

Furthermore, the shareholders approved the appointment of Members of the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners for a term of office from the closing of the 2023 AGMS until the closing of the 2025 AGMS.

Meanwhile, the latest composition of the board of directors includes Hamdhani Dzulkarnaen as President Director, Salim Lay Agus as Director, Kusharijono as Director, Wanny Wijaya as Director, Heru Harsana as Director, Seven Martogi Siahaan as Director, and Ronny Kusgianta as Director.

Then, the composition of the members of the Board of Commissioners includes Gidion Hasan as President Commissioner, Johannes Loman as Deputy President Commissioner, Chiew Sin Cheok as Commissioner, Sudirman Maman Rusdi as Commissioner.

Then, Gunawan Geniusahardja as Commissioner, Agus Tjahajana Wirakusumah as Independent Commissioner, Bambang Trisulo as Independent Commissioner, Bambang Widjanarko ES as Independent Commissioner.

For information, this Astra Group spare parts company posted a net profit that grew 116.9 percent year on year (yoy) to IDR 1.32 trillion in 2022, from the previous IDR 611.34 billion in 2021.

This net profit was supported by revenue performance which grew 22.62 percent yoy to IDR 18.57 trillion, from the previous IDR 15.15 trillion in 2021.
