JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah asked governors throughout Indonesia to open task force command posts (Posko Task Force) in their respective regions to oversee companies in providing holiday allowances (THR) 2023.

The directive is contained in the circular letter (SE) of the Minister of Manpower which has been issued, SE M/2/HK.04.00//III/2023 concerning the Implementation of the 2023 Religious THR for Workers/Laborers in Companies.

Ida said the existence of the posts was to accommodate complaints from workers regarding the issue of paying their THR.

"Through this SE, I convey to the Governors and all their staff in the regions, to form a post for the Religious THR consulting and law enforcement task force in 2023 in each province and city district," he said in a virtual press conference, Tuesday, March 28.

Selain itu, Ida juga meminta agar Posko Satgas yang dibentuk gubernur di seluruh Indonesia terintegrasi dengan laman resmi Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan yakni https://poskothr.kemnaker.go.id.

"In order to ensure the implementation of the 2023 Religious THR payment, I ask the governor to strive for companies in the provinces and districts/cities to pay Religious THR in accordance with the provisions of the legislation," he said.

Ida also asked governors throughout Indonesia to urge companies to pay Religious THR earlier before the maturity of THR payment obligations.

"It is mandatory to pay it no later than seven days before Religious Holidays. This Religious THR must be paid in full, not in installments," he explained.

The Command Post formed by the Ministry of Manpower and the regions in 2022, said Ida, noted that 1,739 companies were complained about the payment of religious THR. From the complaint, 1,185 companies have been followed up by regional labor supervisors.

"From this follow-up, there are companies that have been subject to administrative sanctions through providing recommendations to agencies that issue permits in the regions," he said.
