Vivo X300 Series Officially Released In Indonesia, Prices Start At IDR 14 Million

JAKARTA vivo officially launched its newest flagship cellphone in Indonesia, the Vivo X300 Series, on Thursday, November 20. This phone comes in two models, namely the standard vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro.

Both devices focus on improving their cameras, including using camera systems from ZEISS. The vivo X300 offers a 200MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto camera, while the Vivo X300 Pro offers a 200MP telephoto camera and a 50MP Gymbal-Grade main camera.

"We managed to push the limits on the capabilities of smartphone cameras, allowing each user to take cinema quality photos and videos, directly from their pocket," said Product Manager of vivo Indonesia, Hadie Mandala, to the media crew.

The main ZEISS Gymbal-Grade camera in the Pro series is the first camera in the world to use an OIS of approximately 1.5 degrees Celsius. This feature is combined with the CIPA 5.5-Rated Image Stabilization and VCS 3.0 technology which can maintain stability and sharpness of the image.

For performance, these two phones use the Dimensity 9500 processor from MediaTek. Especially for the vivo X300 Pro, the image performance is combined with the Pro Imaging Chip VS1 processor which is developed independently by Vivo.

The combination of this hardware is claimed to be able to score Antutu's score above 3 million, surpassing the Snapdragon 8 Elite. For battery resistance, the vivo X300 offers a battery capacity of 6040mAh. Meanwhile, the Vivo X300 Pro has a capacity of 6510mAh.

Both models support 90W FlashCharge fast charging. In terms of design, both devices use the 3D Glass Design Unitbody with a touch of Coral Velvet Glass Technique. Both are IP68 and IP69 certified that are resistant to dust and water.

In size, the Vivo X300 comes more compactly with a 6.31-inch display, while the Vivo X300 Pro offers a larger design with a 6.78-inch screen. Both are already running the latest OriginOS 6 operating system.

The standard vivo X300 will come with a storage combination of 16GB+512GB. This device will be sold for IDR 18.999 million. Meanwhile, the vivo X300 Pro will be priced at IDR 14.999 million. The combination of the storage offered is 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB.

Alternatively, these two phones can compete with the iPhone 17 and the Samsung Galaxy S25. The iPhone 17 offers the Dual Fusion Camera 48 MP system consisting of the main lens and Ultra Wide 48MP and 18MP resolution front camera. Unlike the Galaxy S25, this phone offers a main 50MP camera, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto.
