Indonesian Air Force Prepares Fleet For 2024 Election Logistics Distribution

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force (Deputy KSAU) Marsdya TNI Agustinus Gustaf Brugman said his party had prepared a fleet to deliver logistics for the 2024 General Election to areas that were difficult to reach.

"We are asked to prepare, especially thetrasnport aircraft for support, as asked earlier (logistics for the 2024 General Election)," said Agustinus as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 23.

However, he explained, the Indonesian Air Force has not communicated directly with the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the delivery of logistics for the 2024 General Election to the regions.

Agustinus also did not know exactly how many fleets would be needed for the distribution of logistics for the 2024 General Election. Reflecting on the previous election, Agustinus said his party would still alert the fleet.

Regarding the type and number of fleets prepared to deliver logistics for the 2024 General Election, Agustinus admitted that he could not explain in detail.

"The number may not be mentioned yet, but starting next year it will be prioritized for transportation for this support (election logistics)," he added.

Previously, the Indonesian Navy (AL) ranks had also prepared a fleet of naval ships (KAL) and warships for the KRI to assist in the distribution of logistics for the 2024 General Election to archipelagic areas that could only be accessed by sea.

The Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL) Admiral Muhammad Ali, on the sidelines of the unit commander's apple in Marine District, Hartono, Cilandak, Jakarta, Tuesday (21/11), said the deployment of the ships was carried out after a request from the KPU.

"Until now there has been no (request from the KPU). However, we are ready. Usually, it is discussed through the TNI commander. Later, the TNI commander will order the Navy," said Ali.

Every election, the Indonesian Navy always prepares its fleet to help transport logistics, such as ballot boxes and ballots.
