Pertamina Records 6.7 Million Customers Have Registered For The SUBSIDI Rights ELpiji Program 3 Kg

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga noted that as of July 31, 2023, 6.7 million people had been registered in the subsidy program on target.

Pertamina Patra Niaga's President Director, Riva Siahaan, explained that his party continues to seek data collection in relation to improving Pertamina's capabilities in distributing LPG to people in need.

"We do the data collection system using digitalization and until now as of July 31, there are 6.7 consumers who have entered," Riva said in a press conference quoted on Friday, August 4.

Riva added, until now Pertamina Patra Niaga noted that there had been 8.8 million daily transactions at the LPG base.

Meanwhile, Pertamina also noted that the highest transaction occurred on July 31, 2023, at 1.2 million gas cylinders sold in a day.

"This is one indication that people are getting used to it and want to collect data at the LPG base level by utilizing digitalization," explained Riva.

He hopes that the boarding house data collection process will be completed in the third quarter of 2023 so that the distribution of 3 kg LPG can be right on target.

Present at the same mission, the Director of Downstream Oil and Gas Business Development at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Maompang Harahap ensured that during this data collection there would be no restrictions on the purchase of 3 kg LPG.

"If it is recorded in the system, the public can simply show their ID cards for further purchases. Especially for micro-enterprises, additional self-photos are needed at the place of business," said Maompang.

Just so you know, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Pertamina Patra Niaga have conducted a trial of collecting data on 3 kg LPG purchases in five sub-districts including Cipondoh District, Tangerang City, Ciputat District, South Tangerang City, Ngaliyan District, Semarang City, Batam City Batar District, and Mataram District in Mataram City. After that, this trial was expanded and has been carried out in 411 districts and cities in Sumatra, Java, Bali, NTB, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi.
