Second Quarter 2023, Bank DKI Distributes Rp2.98 Trillion Loans To MSMEs
JAKARTA - Bank Pembangunan daerah (BPD) Bank DKI recorded growth in micro credit to MSME players during the second quarter of 2023. Acting President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono said, the micro credit figure reached IDR 2.98 trillion.
"Micro credit shows impressive performance with growth of 52.50 percent to IDR 2.98 trillion in June 2023 from IDR 1.95 trillion in June 2022," Amirul said in his statement, Thursday, August 3.
In addition, the BPD belonging to the DKI Provincial Government also recorded a positive performance trend year on year (yoy) in lending in other segments.
Amirul explained, retail credit during the second quarter grew by 74.46 percent to Rp1.43 trillion in June 2023, from the position of Rp821.54 billion in June 2022.
Micro credit also showed positive performance with a growth of 52.50 percent to IDR 2.98 trillion in June 2023, from IDR 1.95 trillion in June 2022.
In addition, consumer credit also recorded a growth of 14.23 percent to Rp20.94 trillion in June 2023, from the position of Rp18.33 trillion in June 2022.
"Similarly, larger-scale credit, such as medium credit, which grew 16.18 percent to Rp1.68 trillion in June 2023, from the position of Rp1.45 trillion in June 2022," explained Amirul.

Meanwhile, the commercial credit segment grew 2.03 percent to IDR 16.45 trillion in June 2023, from IDR 16.13 trillion in June 2022, in line with the commercial credit distribution strategy carried out selectively by Bank DKI.
Sindication loans also recorded significant growth, which grew 33.48 percent to Rp6.62 trillion in June 2023, from the position of Rp4.96 trillion in June 2022.
The distribution of financing for the sharia segment also grew 10.19 percent to Rp7.82 trillion in June 2023, from the previous Rp7.09 trillion in June 2022.
Furthermore, based on data until June 2023, Bank DKI recorded credit and financing performance growth of IDR 50.11 trillion from IDR 43.64 trillion, an increase of 14.82 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
"Along with the increase in lending and financing, it also boosted Bank DKI's assets by 12.08 percent to Rp82.00 trillion in June 2023, from the position of Rp73.17 trillion in June 2022," he added.
