Vice President Asks For Assistance In Fulfilling 10 Million Halal Certified Products
TANJUNG SELOR - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin asked the Regional Committee for Sharia Economics and Finance (KDEKS) of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) to help the Government meet the target of 10 million halal certified products.
"We want Indonesia to become the largest halal producer in the world in 2024," said Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin in Nunukan as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 3.
On Sebatik Island, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin together with HjWury Ma'ruf Amin witnessed the inauguration of the North Kalimantan kmbalikKS chaired by the Governor of Kaltara Zainal A Paliwang.
Vice President Ma'ruf Amin also said that the declaration of Nunukan Island and Sebatik Island as Zakat Aware Island should be the beginning of a commitment to develop the Islamic finance sector in Kaltara.
The Vice President continued, as a universal concept, the Islamic economy and finance are not only intended for Muslims, but also for the general public and along with the conventional economy.
"And this also happens in several Muslim minority countries," said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.
