Luffy's Search And Arlong's Emergence In The Official Trailer Of The One Piece Series
JAKARTA - Netflix has released the official trailer for the live-action series One Piece which fans around the world have been waiting for. A three-minute video shows Luffy's journey in finding treasure.
Several scenes have been shown in the teaser, but what distinguishes this time there are several characters that appear for the first time. Starting from Gol D. Roger (Michael Dorman) who started the trailer with the narrative.
"Free yourself. Explore the ocean. Find my treasure," said Gol D Roger.
Monkey D. Luffy (Imenki Godoy) is one of the people searching for the treasure. Assisted by Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu) and Namibia (Emily Rudd), the journey began until Luffy found several other crew members.
The journey was not easy because Luffy cs found various challenges, one of which was when they faced Arlong (McKinley Belcher III). In addition, the series stars Emily Rudd as Namibia, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
Along with the release of this trailer, Eiichiro Oda as creator of One Piece wrote a letter to fans. He said there were no complaints about the production of this series because the production team discussed a lot with him to create quality adaptations.

"There are so many things involved in all the struggles of actors, world development and costumes, serving various things in ways that can only be done in live action, dialogue and the whole process of unifying the contents of the head so many people is a joy in itself," wrote Eiichiro Oda in his letter.
"I love the production team and the cast so much that I can't wait to see them get appreciation from the audience around the world," he said again.
Oda was also given the position of executive producer with Steven Maeda and Matt Owens who worked together as directors and writers.
One Piece is the comic by Oda which was first released in 1997. The story focuses on Monkey D. Luffy's life and his elastic body. Together with the crew, Luffy walked through the Grand Line to find a treasure called One Piece.
The One Piece series, which consists of eight episodes, will be available from August 31, 2023 on Netflix.
